- Assemblies are a great way to learn through entertainment. We have formed a new committee with several teachers and are looking for parents to participate!
- The Family Directory is a booklet distributed to all families. Committee members collect and enter information.
- Fourth Grade Graduation Reception is hosted by the PTO for graduating 4th graders and their families after the ceremony.
- The Helping Hands Committee coordinates 'Koats for Kids' in September and other charitable activities as needed. Committee members publicize the projects, collect the articles, and deliver them to the appropriate organization.
- Movie Nights are held in the little gym throughout the year. We show a popular children's movie and have snacks and drinks available. This committee organizes the event and coordinates volunteers.
- Picnic on the Playground is an end of the year tradition. The entire school family enjoys food, games, ice cream, and music, outside on the school grounds. This committee coordinates the games, food, volunteer help, and entertainment.
- PTO Website would be a great resource for parents and the staff. This committee would set up and maintain a website.
- School Dances are typically held once in the Fall and once in the Spring. We provide a band or DJ and sell pizza and drinks. Fun for the whole family! This committee coordinates the gym, food, and music.
- Share Fair in the spring is a chance for students to share their unique talents and interests with the entire school and families, in a displayed exhibit in the gym. ALL participants receive awards! Committee members are needed for this spring event to coordinate/set up the gym, arrange for awards, and display boards.
- Staff Appreciation Week and Lunch in May is planned for the teachers to thank our wonderful staff for their dedication to our children. Committee members arrange for a week of kind gestures for teachers and organize a luncheon.
- Staff Conference Suppers are a chance for us to give back to our staff since they care so much for our kids. On each of the 4 conference nights, the PTO provides full-course suppers for the teachers. The committee coordinates the donations of the main courses, salads and desserts from parents, and arranges for the set up/clean up of the teachers' lounge.
